Pivotal construction recruitment are excited to announce our continued partnership with a well-established Mechanical services contractor based in Bristol.
Pivotal has already placed a Mechanical Project manager with this company and they are seeking an additional manager to join their business on a permanent basis.
Due to being a modern work environment, they seek someone who is experienced, but ambitious about their career development. With their current company culture, they can offer fantastic progression for an individual that can take this role seriously.
Ideally looking for a passionate individual with a plumbing / pipefitting background due to the other manager having an Air Conditioning background. They seek someone who has worked for a SME previously.
Due to not being a Tier 1 business, a successful applicant’s workload may be more focused on 1-2 projects at a time.

What do they require from you?
- Experience working in project management in the building services sector
- Experience tendering and working on projects from £100k-£1m
- Knowledge to understand faults in work and amend to a high standard
- Confidence and initiative when working alongside new and existing clientele
- Experience with Microsoft office packages
- Clean UK Driving licence
The role:
This role will be mainly working from their offices in Bristol (BS16), But may require some occasional travel to their local sites across Bristol & Bath. On some occasions they will have projects across Gloucester, Somerset, Wiltshire and South Wales regions. But normally no further than 50 miles from their office in BS16.
Your role will be to work alongside other project managers and directors to ensure projects are run to a high standard and meeting client timescales. Ensuring direct and sub-contract employees are following instructions with regards to quality and HSE.
Our client mainly uses Microsoft packages for their software’s, but you may be require to learn some new software’s.
Ensuring projects are documented correctly and procedures are being followed.
Playing a customer facing role, where you will need to be experienced communicating with new and existing clientele and resolving any issues that arise.
