Job Title: Mobile Electrical Supervisor

Pivotal construction recruitment is collaborating with an established Maintenance contractor who specialise in commercial facilities maintenance. They are seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Supervisor to run a small team of Engineers across the South of London on a permanent full time, basis working Monday – Friday. 40 hours a week.
If successful, you will be joining a progressive company within a team of engineers working across the Greater London and surrounding on a wide range of projects including offices, shops, other large facilities and MOD sites. They have multiple skilled engineers who operate within their areas so if successful you will be completing mobile work in a select patch as an individual and within teams. The role is to provide supervise as small team of electrical engineers as well as completing a variety of general maintenance and reactive services and corrective works on buildings, plant and sites.
The role is ideal for an experienced mobile commercial Electrician who has experience in the Building Services / FM sector who is looking to develop their career as a hands-on Supervisor / Lead Electrician.
As a working supervisor spending time both planning, installing, maintaining, and repairing your role will be primarily focused on the smaller value, quick response projects / works where plant replacement, upgrades or new installations are required.
You complete the following:
- Small project works supervision
- Emergency lighting testing
- Power circuit installation and testing
- Controls and BMS
- Fault finding, rectification and repair
- Maintenances Inspections and reports
- Organisation of the team
Qualifications and experience:
- Flexible approach and highly organised
- Used to commercial Hard Services FM Environment
- IT Literate (Basic MS Office and Applications)
- Min 5 years’ commercial experience
- Experience in developing small works / project plans
- Min level 3 Electrical Qualifications 2357
- 18th Edition
- Controls and BMS experience an advantage.
- Must be able to work as part of a small team as well as work alone
- Essential to have excellent communication skills (both spoken and written).
- Capable of service and installation works
- Have a wide knowledge of Building Services including mechanical systems
- Must have excellent fault-finding skills
- Should be keen to develop their skills
- Have a flexible approach to the type of work
- Full current driving licence with no more than 3 points.
